it’s like a crazy dream.. Australia sets a target of 337 against NZ at Eden Park, everyone thinks the kiwis could never get that.. But a young Taylor step up to the mark, making his second ODI century – 117 off 127 balls – and suddenly New Zealand are so close.. 33 runs from 34 balls, then its 15 runs from 18 balls, and then McMillian start swinging… and we win! with 9 balls to spare!
I, unfortunatly, had to drive to a colleagues wedding in Andheri during the last hour of the game.. *sob*
But I knew my father would be watching it in NZ so he turned commentator-via-cellphone-on-loudspeaker in the car the whole way.. good job Dad, anyone would think that you’re cousins with Grant Nisbett 😉
Let’s hold our breath for the 3rd and final in the series tomorrow in Hamilton..
